What is stark county jail?

Stark County Jail is located in Canton, Ohio and is operated by the Stark County Sheriff's Office. It is a 24-hour facility that houses both male and female offenders who have been arrested and/or sentenced for a variety of crimes. The jail has a maximum capacity of 665 inmates and offers a range of programs and services including educational and vocational opportunities, substance abuse and mental health treatment, and religious services. The jail also has a video visitation system for inmates, and family and friends can deposit money into an inmate's account online or in-person. The Stark County Jail also offers a work release program for eligible inmates who are allowed to leave the facility during the day to work or attend school before returning to the jail at night.
